Little Danae wanders around her big house, depressed and hurt. Until one day he discovers the wooden staircase leading to the basement. There live two unknown, strange old people, Rodolinos and Tzijiflora. Wise, good, dreamers and escapees from the boring world of adults, they will receive her with love, take care of her and take her to an incredible, wonderful other land; a place alive with old fairy tales and myths.

The basement is therefore transformed into a "time machine" that takes them to the green mountains of Heidi, to the palace of Knossos, to the ship of Theseus as it crosses the sea, which will be called the Aegean, to the long song of Aretousa and Erotokritos.

Life now for Danae and her little brother Manos, who takes him by the hand with her, becomes a magical, happy adventure, well hidden inside their own house.

After all, only those who believe in miracles may one day experience them.
